The cover illustration for Hadas Kaplan’s debut book Everything is fine, Hili was a collaborative effort between Hadas and Inbal, the illustrator.

The book tells the story of Hili, a 31-year-old from Ramat Gan, who carries an imaginary bag of pain from being given up as a child. The story delves into the impact of her initial place of birth on her choices in life, and her journey of dealing with inner demons and abusive relationships.

The cover illustration captures Hili standing at a crossroads, with her face looking towards the next chapter of her life while being present in the moment. The artwork conveys a powerful message of resilience and the possibility of moving forward, despite the hardships of the past.
