Cover Illustration, Pagination and Book Design

The talented Hadas Kaplan wrote her second book, after “Everything is fine, Hily”, and gave us the honor of illustrating and designing the cover.

The author’s vision was to create a cover that would only be fully understood by the reader at the end of the book. Working closely with Hadas, the process began with exploring various compositions, focal points, and details that would hint at the book’s storyline without giving too much away. After several iterations, the final design was chosen, which beautifully captured the essence of the book and left readers intrigued to discover the hidden meaning behind the cover.

To wrap it up, we made sure the front cover will flow through the spine to the back cover, giving another tiny detail from the main scene.
